The title proposed originally for this research project was : From National Revolutionary Terrorism to Communism. But on mature deliberation I have decided to change the title . The reasons for this decision are as follows:
The epithet ' terrorism ' was used and widely circulated by the British government in order to discredit the revolutionaries in the eyes of the public. The revolutionaries were depicted as irresponsible and unscrupulous elements with a criminal bent of mind who were determined to carry out senseless killings of government officials and to create anarchy and disorder.
