The thought of Karl Marx was considered away for the working class to gain emancipation from the yoke of capitalist exploitation. Marx lived in an age when the days of feudalism were passing through a period of sunset. On the contrary, capitalism was fast emerging as an all pervasive social formation. It is indeed his greatness which made him to become deeply passionate with the pain and sufferings of the industrial working class in this age. When most of the scholars were deeply engrossed with the tremendous material progress, which indeed happened in capitalism, Marx had another view and tried to find out how the emancipation of the working class could take place and how the class divided capitalist society can be replaced by a socialist society devoid of class and class exploitation.
